This month, the Rotary Club of Milan was proud to celebrate and support the amazing speech department at Milan Elementary School for Speech Pathologist Month! 💙🗣️

Our club gifted the MES speech team with gift cards to help purchase new items for their classrooms and start the upcoming school year off strong. We are thankful for the dedication, patience, and impact these educators make in the lives of students every single day.

Thank you for all you do to help children find their voice and build confidence!

Today, the Milan Rotary Club had the pleasure of hearing from Sam Rhodes as he shared information about the amazing work being done through the Gibson County Imagination Library! 📚✨

We are grateful for Sam taking the time to speak with our club about the importance of early childhood literacy and helping children develop a lifelong love of reading.

Did you know? Through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, children from birth to 5 years old can receive FREE books mailed directly to their home every month! ❤️

What a busy (and meaningful) week for the Milan Rotary Club!

On Wednesday, we had the honor of hosting the monthly Chamber Connections (one of the largest yet) —such a great opportunity to meet and mingle with members of our community, share what Rotary is all about, and even talk about plans for a potential satellite club

Then today, we gathered for a quick meal and headed over to the Gibson County Carl Perkins Center, where we showered the center with snacks to help put children at ease, provide comfort, and make them feel a little more at home as they undergo interviews and therapies. Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.
