I have an education degree from Eastern Michigan University, where I played in the marching & symphonic bands, and was EMU's fir

st ever female Drum Major. I play keyboards (and a little bass and flute, too) and sang my church's worship band (hope to again after this pandemic!) I teach out of my home on my grandmother's beautiful baby grand piano. Lessons are $25/ half hour. I also now offer virtual lessons using FaceTime or Google Duo. I haven't posted in such a long time!! The world has changed and I have been working hard to adapt and change along with it! I have been teaching virtually using FaceTime and Google Duo since March and it's been going great! I will be updating my page very soon to reflect this.

I just wanted to say thank you to all my clients for sticking with me and continuing to learn piano with me during this crazy time. I'm so honored and blessed to have so many incredible students.

Happy summer, everyone! I realized I haven’t published on my piano page in quite some time! I hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far!

I am still teaching throughout the summer, so please let me know if you would like to sign up for a lesson or two. There is no commitment during the summer months! I am available Tuesday - Thursday, mornings and afternoons. Taking a lesson here and there really helps keep students going! 🎶

I love what I do and am so thankful for the opportunity to teach piano to so many awesome students! Please let me know if you are a new person to this page and would like to try out a lesson!

Hey, everyone! As we all gear up for school to start, I am getting excited to kick off the Fall session of piano! This will be my 19th year teaching music, and I couldn't ask for a more rewarding job! I love it!

I will be starting to put together the fall schedule next week - I am really looking forward to seeing my current students again and meeting new students. 🎶

School starts tomorrow!

And my kick off for my Fall Piano is scheduled for next week! I'm so happy that so many of my students came back from last spring to continue to learn and have fun with music and the piano. 🎶
Are you interested or know someone who is interested in learning how to play the piano? I have some openings! I am also available to teach during the daytime hours, so if you are an adult who has always wanted to play or a homeschool student, know that this is an option for you.
I absolutely love my job and would love more students to teach!

Kicking off my summer piano lessons this summer! ☀️ I really love teaching piano and am thankful to continue during the fun, summer months!
And it's not too late to sign up for some lessons 🎶! During the summer, you can sign up week to week, so there is no long commitment - allowing time for vacations and lots of other summer fun! And it's a great time to try out piano lessons for the first time : )

I really can't believe summer vacation is almost here! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day : )

I just wanted to let everyone know that I will have my summer sign up sheets available starting tomorrow. I will be teaching Mondays and Tuesdays from 9am-12pm and 3pm-6pm and Wednesdays from 3pm-6pm. It will be a first come, first serve sign up (feel free to call me as well if you really want a certain time and don't want to wait until you come for your lesson to sign up!) There will be a sign up sheet for each week I am available.

Thanks to everyone who has taken lessons with me this school year! Teaching piano brings me so much joy - thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives! 🎶

I'm so happy for this incredible weather we are having ☀️! I love that it is still light outside after my last lesson in the evening : )
I am excited to now have 33 lessons! Teaching piano brings me a lot of joy - very happy to have so many students. 🎶

Merry Christmas everyone! I hope you all enjoy some time with family and friends over this Christmas season 🎄.

And starting in January, I am planning on opening up Monday afternoons to new students! So if you know of anyone who would enjoy learning how to play the piano from an amazing teacher (😉), please put them in contact with me!
