🥋🌎Karate Around the World🌎🥋

This past weekend, more than 1,000 young karate athletes from 27 countries came together in Costa Rica for the Junior Pan American Karate Championships, and Team USA finished #1 overall for the FOURTH year in a row!

What an incredible reminder for our own students that every champion starts somewhere.

They start by learning the basics.
They keep showing up.
They keep practicing.
They keep pushing themselves.

And who knows? One of the young martial artists training in a dojo today could be representing Team USA tomorrow.

Congratulations to all of the athletes who represented their countries this weekend!

New belts, new goals, and so much to celebrate 🥋

Congratulations to all of our students who earned their new belts this week! Every belt represents hours of practice, discipline, perseverance, and the courage to keep showing up and improving.

We are incredibly proud of each of you! Not only for the belt around your waist, but for the growth that got you there!

🥋🐉 BIG BELTS for our LITTLE DRAGONS! 🐉🥋

Discipline, focus, hard work… and apparently just a little bit of chaos.

We had to capture both sides of last night’s belt promotion; the proud moment and the personality that comes out approximately 30 seconds later! 🤪

We are SO proud of these Little Dragons and all the work they’ve put in to earn their new belts. They’re learning that karate takes focus and discipline, but there’s always room to have a whole lot of fun along the way!

🥋 BELT TESTING BEGINS TODAY! 🥋

Over the next several classes, we will be evaluating students on their technique, effort, focus, attitude, and overall readiness to move up to their next rank.

Students, come to class ready to work hard, stay focused, and show us what you know. Remember, earning your next belt is about more than memorizing techniques; it’s about demonstrating growth in every area.

☑️Belt Testing Week☑️

Belt Testing is set to begin this coming week of August 17th through the 21st. Students will demonstrate all the skills they have learned to be graded and evaluated for promotion. While students do not need to be perfect, we are looking for a certain level of understanding and continued growth in all techniques as a consideration for belt promotion. Belt promotions will be done in classes the following week.

We are looking forward to seeing your skills on the mat!

🥇 Sensei Lee — 1st in both Forms & Weapons + Overall Grand Champion in both 18+ Black Belt Forms & Weapons

🥇 Jordan Mack — 1st in both Forms & Weapons + Overall Grand Champion in both 18+ Forms & Weapons

🥇 Peyton Campbell — 1st in both Adaptive Forms & Weapons + Overall Grand Champion in both Adaptive Forms & Weapons

🥇 Patrick Campbell — 1st in Weapons, 2nd in Forms + his FIRST Overall Grand Champion in 17 & Under Weapons
