The Milan FFA Chapter sends out a big thank you to our community for supporting our Greenhouse. This is a student run operation from starting seeds to planting baskets, learning about good customer service, to supporting the community. Not only do our students earn a wage for working after school and weekends when the greenhouse is open, but funds help to continue and grow our program. Every year scholarships are given to Seniors to help with their education.
With the support of our community we are headed onwards and upwards.

Come out and support the Milan FFA Greenhouse!!!
This is the last week to purchase beautiful plants raised by our Botany students. The greenhouse is located behind the High School at 100 Big Red Dr. the hours are Monday- Friday 2:30 to 6:30 Saturday 9-5 and Sunday 12-5. We have a large variety of annuals and perennials, flowers and veggies. This year we have added soil and mulch for your 1 stop shopping convenience. Stop by to meet our great students and enjoy their beautiful flowers!!!

Last friday we hosted Ag Day at the high school for young 5s through 4th grade students. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to learn about many different areas of agriculture through hands-on activities and stations led by our high school students.

Students were able to see and learn about a variety of animals while also exploring different agriculture-related topics. Our students worked hard planning activities, setting up stations, and helping teach younger students throughout the event.

It was great to see everyone engaged, asking questions, and having fun while learning more about agriculture. Thank you to everyone who helped make Ag Day a success and to all the students and staff who put so much time and effort into the event. It was a fun and rewarding day for everyone involved!

Several of our members visited The W4Country Firehouse Friday at our Milan Firehouse!! Friday was our annual Drive your Tractor to school day so on their way to school they stopped at the firehouse and showed their support!!! Our newly elected FFA President Ethan talked about our chapter and different activities, and invited the community to our FFA Greenhouse at the high school. Hope to see you all there.

The Milan FFA sends out a great big thank you to DR Trailer Sales for the use of the animal panels for our Elementary Ag Day on Friday. We were able to give the animals and students a fun day. We are so grateful for the support of our area businesses.

Yesterday we celebrated another great year at our FFA Banquet! 💙💛

Throughout the evening, we reflected on all of our accomplishments from this past year, recognized members for their hard work in contests and in the ag classes, and honored both our outgoing and incoming FFA council members. We are so proud of everything our chapter has achieved and thankful for everyone who helped make this year successful.
