Our LPN to RN Diploma Program students had an intensive, hands-on lab day focusing on advanced clinical skills in Adult Health 2. Bridging the gap from LPN to RN means diving deeper into critical care and emergency response!

Today’s immersive stations covered:

• 🦴 Fracture Management: Mastering alignment, stabilization, and neurovascular assessments.

• 🔥 Burn Care: Practicing complex wound care, fluid resuscitation calculations, and infection control.

• 🩸 Stop the Bleed: Perfecting life-saving tourniquet application and packing techniques for severe trauma.

Every lab day brings these dedicated professionals one step closer to their RN designation. We are so proud of their hard work and critical thinking!

IT'S A GIRL! Today in SIM and Lab we went over intrapartum medications and how to support a Mom with Preeclampsia as well as postpartum hemorrhage. Today's SIM with Ms. Kelley Russel was absolutely amazing! We learned so much! And we had some laughs too! Thank you so much to everyone who helped with our Lab and SIM today!

Nursing student reality check: 🩺 We just wrapped up our latest Adult Health 1 SIM lab on anaphylaxis, and it was intense!

Going through the LPN-to-RN Diploma Program is all about leveling up our critical thinking, and today really put us to the test. In the SIM lab, every second counts.

Recognizing those rapid changes—from hives to airway compromise—and knowing exactly when to advocate for and administer epinephrine is a massive shift in responsibility.

💉Shoutout to this amazing lab group for the incredible teamwork today. We are one step closer to those RN badges! 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️
