Molly Blish Daycare and Microschool

What an incredibly beautiful first week of school we had. 😍

Pre-k: ABCs. Counting. KhanAcademy Online work. Bible lessons and scripture. Farm chores. Life skills. Painted. Prayed together. Played together.

Kinder: Learned about Egypt. How to say thank you in Arabic- Shukran. Learned about culture around the world. Did their KhanAcademy online work. Learning how to tell time. Reading books. Did some water paint and made a story about their painting. Did their farm/school chores. Played with friends. Prayed together. Did bible lessons together. Pledge of Allegiance.

5th: Prayer and bible time. Theology. Learned about The Wright Brothers and aviation. Led activities for the younger children and led us in prayer daily. Read books and took an AR test. Took care of their farm chores, school chores, and di made time for their paying job task. Learned about the science of our body, while reading their Gods Wonderous Machine curriculum.

🤩What we look forward to next week:

Pre-k: Diving into our science curriculum- God made the world & me. Participate in more watercolor lessons. Bible and prayer time. Assessments on letters and numbers. Fun games and activities. Continue to work on life skills & help on the farm.

Kinder: Spanish & Watercolor online classes begin. We will begin our penmanship with scripture curriculum. We will begin our math curriculum. The children are looking forward to seeing their new assigned farm/school chores. Someone new will lead prayer next week.

5th: Online classes begin! ELA, spanish, cooking club, history club, reading club! Full schedule ahead!

We have so much to be thankful for and I will take every moment to make sure the children know how blessed and fortunate they are. We have so much to look forward to! 🙌🏼😍

To know him is to love him. We've had the huge blessing of ClayClay spending each day with us for the past 4 YEARS! 🥳

😌 He's a calm soul
🍼 He's the keeper of bottle feeding
🤼‍♂️ He's the rough houser for the boys
😂 He's the one who makes us all laugh
🔨 He teaches the boys to be boys
✔️ And teaches the girls to do all the things a boy can do
🐐 He's is the animal wrangler and whisperer
🖌 He paints the hands & feet
⭐️ He is a role model for the boys
🥓He makes the meals
👨‍👧‍👦 He's been available to our children
📖 He's the biblical leader of the home
🙌🏼 He's hands down the best

If you've had the privelage of seeing Clayton Blish at work here in our daycare/school the last 4 years and have felt blessed by his presence, leave a kind word for him. I know he'd appreciate it! 🤩

We LOVE having our families out for extra time with their littles.

Thank you to Exotic Scoops ice cream truck for coming out! The dairy free ice cream was sooooo delicious!

The bigs are rocking it with their farm chores each day! The littles observe and help where they can! One day they will be doing these chores daily as well. 🙌🏼

Today we ventured out and watered our pecan trees! These were planted about 2 years ago, and with constant love from little hands, they are growing so well! 🌳

We also chopped down some green branches and fed to the friendly neighbor horse. 🐎

On the list of farm chores today for ClayClay & the kids- take out a stump in the peacock pen and haul off the wood!!!! 💪

These boys helped him take the whole stump out- and it was large, and haul it out to pasture.

Fun facts: giving children something like this to do creates a sense of responsibility, develops work ethic, and helps them learn vital life skills. These boys have all been given tools from ClayClay and I, to go out into the world some day and tackle any obstacle that comes their way. A seed has been planted and we will keep watering it daily. 🌱
