The Mid-Del Board of Education named Mrs. Brade Robertson as the new Assistant Principal at Midwest City Elementary School.
Mrs. Robertson brings more than a decade of educational experience to Mid-Del Schools and a passion for helping every student reach their full potential. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of instructional and leadership roles, including Special Education paraprofessional, classroom teacher, instructional coach, and assistant principal.
Originally from Inglewood, California, Mrs. Robertson began her career in education with Norman Public Schools before serving students and families at Crutcho Public Schools. She is known for her positive energy, strong relationships, and commitment to creating environments where students feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to succeed.
Mrs. Robertson earned her bachelor's degree from the University of Oklahoma and recently completed her master's degree in Educational Leadership from Southern Nazarene University.

The Mid-Del Board of Education named Mr. Shane Hale as the new Assistant Principal at Tinker Elementary School.
Mr. Hale brings a wealth of educational experience to Mid-Del Schools, having served students and families in Deer Creek, Norman, and Waldron Public Schools, as well as the University of Arkansas–Rich Mountain. Throughout his career, he has held a variety of roles, including math and ELA teacher, college and career counselor, EL program coordinator, and, most recently, assistant principal at John Glenn Elementary School.
Originally from Arkansas, Mr. Hale earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education from the University of Arkansas–Fort Smith and his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Arkansas State University. He is currently pursuing his doctorate at Purdue University.
Mr. Hale is passionate about creating learning environments where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to reach their full potential. His commitment to students and families is at the heart of everything he does.
He and his wife, Hillary, are the proud parents of their two-year-old daughter, Suttyn.

The Mid-Del Board of Education named Mr. Joseph Ginn as the new Assistant Principal at Carl Albert High School.
Mr. Ginn brings more than two decades of experience in education and coaching to Mid-Del Schools. During his 22 years in the classroom and 23 years as a coach, he has taught a variety of courses, including every level of high school English, Mythology, and ACT Prep, while also serving students through numerous athletic leadership roles.
Mr. Ginn began his career at Tecumseh High School, where he taught Freshman and Junior English and served as Defensive Coordinator in football and Assistant Baseball Coach. He later joined Choctaw High School, teaching Sophomore English while coaching football, baseball, track, and powerlifting. In 2017, he was named Head Football Coach at Bethel High School, where he also served as Head Powerlifting Coach, Head Track Coach, Assistant Softball Coach, and most recently Assistant Athletic Director.
Known for his commitment to student success both in the classroom and through extracurricular activities, Mr. Ginn has dedicated his career to helping students grow academically, athletically, and personally.
Mr. Ginn and his wife, Kimberly, have been married for 24 years and are the proud parents of two daughters, Kaylee and Ashlee.

Congratulations, Mrs. Tibbits! 🎉
The Mid-Del Board of Education named Mrs. Megan Tibbits as the new Executive Director of Special Services.
Mrs. Tibbits brings 16 years of dedicated service to Mid-Del Schools and a deep commitment to supporting students, families, and staff. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles within the district, building strong relationships and helping ensure students receive the services and support they need to succeed.
Mrs. Tibbits began her career in Mid-Del as a School Psychologist, serving students and families at multiple school sites, including Tinker, Townsend, and Schwartz Elementary Schools. She later served for eight years as an Instructional Facilitator in the Special Services Department before becoming Assistant Director of Special Services.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University and her Master’s Degree in School Psychology from the University of Central Oklahoma.
Mrs. Tibbits is honored to continue serving the Mid-Del community in this new leadership role and remains dedicated to supporting every student's success.

Congratulations, Mr Hawkins! 🎉
The Mid-Del Board of Education named Mr. Kenni Hawkins as the new Floating Assistant Principal at Parkview Elementary and Epperly Heights Elementary Schools.
Mr. Hawkins brings 15 years of educational experience to his new role and is committed to helping every student achieve their fullest potential. He believes the most effective schools combine high expectations with meaningful relationships, creating environments where students can thrive academically and personally.
Mr. Hawkins earned his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he double-majored in Marketing and Management and minored in English. He later earned a Master of Educational Leadership from Concordia University–Portland and is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in Education Administration and Leadership at Southern Nazarene University.
In addition to his work in education, Mr. Hawkins is a U.S. Armed Forces infantry veteran whose diverse experiences and perspectives have helped shape his approach to leadership and student success.
Outside of school, Mr. Hawkins enjoys reading, running, traveling, and spending time with his wife, Ariel. He is also a fan of horror movies and lifelong learning.
