I just came across this tiny quilt I made years ago, forgetting I’d saved one for posterity or something… I have a bad habit of not hanging onto at least one sample of the goods I’ve made over the years. 🫣 I made and sold the tiny quilts locally at at least a decade ago.

Recently on a trip to Southern Utah I got to see one of the dearly loved originals at house. I’d heard the tales of Boppy and the important role it’s played since this cutie was a baby but to see it in real life after a thousand washings and cuddles was a treat!
It’s got me thinking I need to make some more tiny quilts for the next Bazaar in April-May… what do you think?

Got my paws on some lovely vintage Christmas tablecloths- small and round, complete with fringe. Anyone else having a flashback - Christmas dinner at their grandmas house, eating at a card table in the corner with the other kids? No? Just me?🤔

❤️‍🔥All of the echinacea colors and garden friends- dahlia, liatris, allium and celosia.
I recently realized you must cut the dahlias if you’d like to enjoy them longer that 5 hours… before the grasshoppers gobble them up.🤬

You know how I looove a good garland… well, I’ve been hoarding a box of granny squares I picked up at a yard sale years ago. After forgetting all about them and then happily remembering I had them, I’ve been pondering projects ideas (pants, bike basket cozy, bikini, cocktail dress…) I settled on the trusty garland. I’ve got 6 garlands made up and available at starting tomorrow!

Making these scrappy patchwork panels (not really a quilt- there’s no batting between the layers) is one of my favorite up cycling projects because they’re so easy to actually use- not just memorialize by carefully preserving it in a drawer. Easy to wash over and over- use it as a blanket, tablecloth, throw.
