Four things we brought home from D.C.
Brokerage leaders spent a lot of time talking about AI, a shifting market, and the future of the industry. Four ideas stood out to us as a school serving the Low Country.
One, technology is a tool and not a replacement. AI can make agents faster, but it cannot replace local knowledge and the trust that is built face to face.
Two, go back to the basics. When the market gets noisy, strong agents return to relationships and the people they already know.
Three, quality over quantity. Many of the leaders we heard from are thinking about how to bring the next generation of agents into the business, and how to make sure they are well trained.
Four, know your value. Agents need to be able to clearly explain everything they do for a client, from the first showing to closing day.
That is why our pre-licensing course is taught in person. The fundamentals are best learned alongside real instructors and classmates. We also will be offering continuing education for licensed agents (in-person or computer-based).
Thinking about a career in real estate? We would love to talk with you.
