🇺🇸 Honoring Our Nation’s History & Heritage
Today, the Liberty County School System recognizes Columbus Day and Indigenous Peoples’ Day. This day offers an opportunity to reflect on the many people, cultures, journeys, and experiences that have shaped our nation's history.

As educators, we encourage our students to continue learning about history from multiple perspectives while developing a greater understanding and appreciation for the diverse cultures and contributions that are part of America’s story.
We hope our LCSS families and community have a safe and meaningful day of reflection.

🎓 5th Grade Explores Future Opportunities at LCCA! 🐾

Our 5th grade students recently visited Liberty College & Career Academy (LCCA) for an exciting hands-on learning experience! Students explored career pathways, toured classrooms, and learned about the programs and opportunities available to LCSS high school students.

The visit gave our Cubs a firsthand look at what their futures could hold and helped them connect what they’re learning today with their future goals.

A special thank you to Dr. Foley and the LCCA teachers for welcoming our students and providing such an engaging and memorable experience!

💜💛 The future is bright for our LES Cubs! 🐾
