Do you have gently-used Halloween costumes collecting dust or sitting in the donate pile? Why not bring them to the office this week and next and we’ll be sure they go to a Jr. Huskie.

Families can come to our free costume shop on Monday October 19th. Flyers went home this week with an earlier time printed on it, but we’ve extended our hours for all those hard working parents who also want to browse our selection! 👷‍♂️👩🏻‍🎨🧑🏾‍🚀🥷🏻🦸🏼🧙🏾🧛🏽🧟‍♀️

Thank you for all your donations to the PTA fundraiser last month. 2nd grade was the winning grade who collected the most and earned a foam party last Friday! They sure had some bubbly fun and we are so grateful for your support! 🫧

Advocacy is a main part of Utah PTA’s mission and this upcoming event is a great way for all members of our community to be informed on the candidates and issues for the upcoming election.

We want you to feel empowered and advocate for the things that are important to you and your families. So here are the details for “Meet the Candidates” night on October 13.

We understand this overlaps with Literacy Night, but wanted to share this opportunity.

We blinked and October is here! Welcome!

And also—goodbye September! September was an incredibly full month of events but even more so record breaking milestones. We surpassed our goal of fundraising $8,000 and nearly 800 Midvalley community members attended our class skate night. This is all because of YOU. Your efforts and contributions make a difference.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for what’s to come! Be sure to swipe through each event for more details.

$11,217.58?!

$11,217.58?!

This amount deserves its own permanent spot on our feed because HOLY SMOKES, WOO WEE, YEE HAW! We are not only ecstatic by the amount donated, but overwhelmingly moved by the generosity of so many. From our smallest donations to our largest—every single amount made a difference. Every single amount will go back to our school—to our teachers and staff, students, and community as a whole in various ways. A sincere thank you to the parents, grandparents, neighbors, business owners, teachers, strangers, and especially our students for your donations.

Thank you for trusting us with these funds. We are looking forward to what’s to come. Thanks to you—it’s going to be amazing!

Would you believe us if we told you that Classic Skate counted 785 attendees from Midvalley Elementary at our skate night?! Talk about showing up BIG time! They said it’s likely the biggest group they’ve ever had 🤯

As a PTA one of our favorite things is providing activities for teachers, students, and parents/guardians to attend. It’s all about growing and strengthening our community. Thanks for being apart of it—and we’re just getting started.

Let’s go, Jr. Huskies!
