🎉 National Night Out 2026 – Midlothian & Oak Forest

What an amazing evening at National Night Out 2026!

Woori Taekwondo & Hapkido Academy was honored to be part of this wonderful community event, bringing together families from Midlothian and Oak Forest for a night of fun, connection, and community spirit.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, met our team, and learned more about our programs. It was a pleasure meeting so many new families and sharing our passion for building confidence, respect, discipline, and strong character through martial arts.

A special thank you to the Midlothian Police Department, the Village of Midlothian, the City of Oak Forest, and all of the organizers and volunteers for hosting such a fantastic event. We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of a community that values safety, unity, and supporting local families.

We look forward to seeing everyone again soon—and welcome all of our new friends to Woori Taekwondo!

🌧️ Rain Couldn't Stop the Woori Spirit! 🥋

Our 12th Annual Woori Family Picnic was a great success!

Although the rain kept some families from attending, we are grateful to everyone who came out and made the day so special.

A heartfelt thank you to all of our volunteers, staff, students, and families for your time, support, and for bringing food, drinks, desserts, and supplies. Your generosity and teamwork made this event possible.

Thank you for being part of the Woori family. We can't wait to see everyone again next year!

🥋 Midlothian Belt Promotion Test – July 23 & 24 🥋

Over the past two days, our Midlothian students demonstrated outstanding focus, determination, respect, and perseverance during their Belt Promotion Test.

Every student gave their very best, showing the results of their hard work, dedication, and commitment to improving every day. We are incredibly proud of all of our students for taking another step forward on their martial arts journey.

Congratulations to everyone who earned their next belt! Keep setting new goals, training with passion, and striving to become the best version of yourselves.

This recognition is especially meaningful because it is based on the support, trust, and positive feedback of our students and families. We are truly grateful for our amazing Woori community.
