DMS Class of 2029

Thank you to every parent, aunt, uncle, grandparent, sibling and friend who helped over the past few months. And thank you to Mrs. Ricks for getting our messages out week after week.

Many of you did a lot of work behind the scenes and you are appreciated. We started with $0 so this is impressive. We completed all activities and will hold a positive balance of $5300! The goal was simple - to have more than where we started. We all did it and I appreciate each of you. Thank you to my committee who at times thought my ideas were nuts but went for the ride. And we really could not have a better treasurer. Thank you, Brandi Newcomer for reminding us all when we have purchased enough and not to spend any money. We truly have the easiest class of parents I have ever worked with. (And I have worked with many!)

Again, thank you for volunteering and donating. We are this much ahead starting their Senior year.

Thank you so much parents for all your help today with setup, serving food, cooking food and cleanup. I hope that all the kiddos had a great time today. I truly am grateful for the parents that we have with this group of kiddos yall have been amazing. Thank you again for everything.

A few updates for 05/10 @ Union 28:

Thank you to The Pace Family, we now have a permanent jewelry company dropping in for a couple of hours. I will add the price sheet. This will be an option for students to purchase with their funds. Cash, Venmo, Apple Pay. Let us know in comments if this is something your kiddo is interested in.

Also, Mister Softee DFW is working to arrange us in other schedule. Will have a definite answer hopefully tomorrow. Again, this is a cash/card option for students. * I do not have their menu or pricing just yet.

And Tom’s Mobile Coffee Truck will be there!
This too is a cash option.

I will keep y’all posted.

PLEASE RSVP (again) for the Graduation Party 05/10 @ Union 28 . I know this is extra work, trust me - I know!!! Our headcount greatly exceeded the flow on the RSVP charts for the Celebration Friday night. We were able to make it all happen, but we are hoping to have a much better number for Saturday...

If you plan to order flowers for Crossover please call 972-775-2270 to place your order. She will be bringing a limited amount of “extras” to the event.

Place your order in advance to assure you have this covered. Spread the word.
