Town Hall is now preparing Welcome Kits for new families that are moving into our community.
Our Welcome Kits feature and direct these new families to a small number of local businesses for the goods, services & professionals that they need to find.
Since our Welcome Kits are exclusive, and we can only accommodate one Day Care/Pre-School Center, I would ask you to kindly let me know if you are interested in being the featured Day Care Facility in our local Welcome Kits.
It is worthy to note that, according to Dr. Cathy Goodwin in her book “Making the Big Move”, 33% of new residents and families seek out a new Child Care Center shortly after their relocation. As such, approximately 1 out of 3 recipients of our Welcome Kits are actively seeking a new Child Care Center.
I would like to schedule a time when you are expecting me so that I may drop off a sample of our "Welcome Kit" and explain the program in greater detail.

As you all know, for the past several months, MKA management and staff have been working on the accreditation process.
We are happy to announce that Midlothian Kids Academy officially received our accreditation from Cognia in July of 2023!

The School Agers had so much fun on their field trips to the Iron Bridge Sports Park! They enjoyed playing Put-Put-Golf ⛳️ & had a yummy lunch in the sun!🥪We are loving summer camp! ☀️

Happy Friday! ⛺️We have had so much fun during the first week of summer!
Our weekly theme was A Camping We Will Go! Having a picnic in a tent for snack time was a necessity! The School Agers had so much fun working on a science project during Science Camp. They also enjoyed swimming on Friday. We all finished the week off with snow cones Friday afternoon. What a yummy way to start the weekend! 🏕️

We would like to formally invite you to Midlothian Kids Academy’s 6th Anniversary Celebration! Come join us at MKA on Saturday, June 3rd from 1 – 4pm for some fun!
We will have food trucks, bounce houses, cotton candy and popcorn stations, a balloon-making station, a magician, face painting, and games! Want a chance to pie your favorite teacher, come on out! There will be sack races, egg races, and a cookie decorating station!
Bring your family and friends and anyone interested in joining the MKA family! Everyone is welcome! Let’s get ready to party!

We had so much fun learning about safety & emergency preparedness during our training. The Chesterfield police department did such a wonderful job teaching us about safety we can use everyday at MKA & in our personal lives! We feel prepared for any emergency!

We ended the week honoring Alice Coachman, as the first African American woman to win an Olympic medal and Barak Obama as the first African American president.

Today, we made rocket ships to honor Katherine Johnson, a mathematician, who was the first African American woman to work as a NASA scientist! Her calculations of orbital mechanics were critical to the success of the first and subsequent U.S. crewed spaceflights.
