🎺 Band Fun Fact of the Day! 🥁

Did you know your body can lose over a liter of water in just one hour of marching in the summer heat? 💧

Even being slightly dehydrated can affect your focus, stamina, and coordination—all things we need to have a successful rehearsal! That’s why we encourage everyone to bring a full water bottle and drink water throughout practice.

🚰 Skip the sugary drinks and choose water to help keep your energy up and your body performing at its best.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and let’s make this our best band camp yet! 🎶☀️

Band camp is almost here, and we’re officially less than 14 days away! 🎶🥁

Now is the perfect time to start getting your body ready. Make sure you’re drinking plenty of water each day so you’re ready to take on the summer heat and all the excitement of band camp!

A few friendly reminders:
💙 Drink water consistently throughout the day.
🥤 Try to choose water over sugary drinks.
🎺 Bring a full water bottle to every rehearsal.

Wishing everyone a fun and safe 4th of July with family, friends, and celebration!

As we get closer to band camp, this is also a great reminder to start preparing now—especially when it comes to hydration. With these high heats, it’s more important than ever to drink plenty of water throughout the day and take care of your body. Building healthy habits now will help you be ready for those long, hot days on the field.
