Okay...up until now I’ve been Springfield Prodigy ride-or-die. Then I put 500 rounds through the Staccato CS. The trigger breaks like it owes me nothing. Call it 3.5-4 lbs of “why did I wait this long"...

It's nearly 3 ounces lighter than my Prodigy despite basically the same footprint, and it somehow squeezes in one extra round (16+1 vs 15+1) while having what seems to be a slimmer grip. My Prodigy still shoots great and it’s still the better deal on paper…but “better deal” doesn’t really mean anything in this game.

Springfield, it’s not you, it’s me. Actually — it might be you.

My wallet = crying either way!
