Reminder, tomorrow 5/21 is the final day for students to purchase tickets for the 8th Grade Civics Trade Show on 5/27!
All grade levels are invited to come shop and support our students’ businesses and creative ideas. Tickets are just $1 each and will be sold during all lunches.
⚠️ Important: Tickets cannot be purchased the day of the event, so don’t wait until the last minute!

🎉🚨 HELP WANTED: 8th Grade Fun Day Volunteers 5/27 🚨🎉
It’s almost time for 8th Grade Fun Day — aka the annual celebration of surviving middle school without losing every hoodie, water bottle, Chromebook charger, and ounce of patience. 😅
We need volunteers to help make the day awesome! Duties may include:
• Supervising games
• Handing out pizza
• Redirecting roaming groups of “too cool for this” teenagers
• Explaining for the 47th time that yes, you still have to follow school rules on Fun Day
Perks include:
✅ Watching middle schoolers suddenly become 5 years old over inflatable games
✅ Unlimited “bruuhhh” and eye rolls
✅ The chance to be someone’s favorite parent volunteer (or at least, least embarrassing)
✅ A front row seat to the chaos before they head off to high school
No special experience required — just a sense of humor and the ability to survive being ignored when you say “walk please.” 😂

What a SPECTACULAR Night in the Caribbean for the 8th grade! Thank you to Erin Bohannon, the mastermind behind the amazing decorations. Many thanks to all the volunteers that helped decorate, chaperone, and clean up. We couldn’t have done it without all your help. We enjoyed celebrating the 8th graders. Next up Fun Day!
