This weekend, Swift Creek Middle School PTSA had the opportunity to attend the annual Virginia PTA conference, where we participated in valuable training sessions, connected with PTA leaders from across the state, and celebrated the achievements of local units during the awards ceremony.

We came away with new ideas, fresh inspiration, and a renewed commitment to supporting our students, teachers, and school community.

One of our goals for the coming year is to grow our PTSA membership and earn a membership award of our own! Every member makes a difference, and we look forward to welcoming even more parents, caregivers, teachers, staff, and students to join us in 2026-2027.

💙 This week, the Swift Creek Middle School PTSA is excited to help our students celebrate the end of another great school year! 🎉

All 8th grade students at Swift Creek Middle School will be receiving a special celebratory goodie bag from PTSA to help them “sail” into high school! ⚓🎓 PTSA will also be providing donuts and waters for the 8th grade celebration.

Our 6th and 7th grade students will also enjoy popsicles provided by PTSA during their grade-level celebrations! 🍧

We are so proud of all of our students and hope they enjoy these special treats as we celebrate a fantastic year together! 💙

🔍 Lost & Found Reminder! 🔍

As we head into the final short week of school, this is a reminder for students to check the Lost & Found at Swift Creek Middle School for any missing jackets, water bottles, lunch boxes, or other items.

There are still many unclaimed belongings waiting to be picked up, so please make sure to look for your items before the school year ends!

Another school year almost in the books!
If you do some spring/summer cleaning - hold onto your denim.
SCMS will be doing the Goodwill Denim Drive again at the end of September/beginning of October.
If the PTSA collects enough denim pieces we can win $$$.
Last year we won $750 for second place. Let’s aim for $1,000 (first place)

The last Spirit Night of the school year is Today! Please join us at Rico's Mexican Restaurant! This will be a great way to have dinner with friends before the school year ends. 11 am to 9:30 pm
