Nazarene Missions International (NMI) is the church-relations heart of Global Mission in every local church worldwide. NMI promotes, informs, involves, and raises funds for Global Mission. NMI represents, organizes, and legislates for Global Mission at all levels of the church—local, district, field, regional, and global. NMI collaborates closely and in harmony with Global Mission, which administrates Nazarene missions globally.

Thanks to one of our donors, our local volunteers were treated to a breakfast. These volunteers frequently drop everything to help out with in moment’s notice. They unload and load trucks in all kinds of weather. We are thankful for their generosity of time and muscles!

Despite fixing a flat tire on a trailer, Cathy and Mark delivered 23 boxes School Pal Packs and 103 boxes of Crisis Care Kits to FGCC! Mark and Barry made a great team unloading trailer. Thank you to the North Carolina District for your donations!

The missions team needs urgent prayer for the medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic this November. We are having problems getting approval from the Dominican Republic government for the trip. Here is the prayer request. Pray that God would soften the hearts of those in the Dominican government who are making this decision to allow the team entry, and He will provide assistance with the other details of the trip, especially getting passports processed. If it is God who is closing the door, that He would open the door and guide the team to a new location, and He would provide the resources to address all the details.

We are promoting our annual Bike-a-Thon to be held at the Virginia District Nazarene Retreat Center on Saturday, July 1st. Our children (and adults, too) ride/walk/run to raise money for our Nazarene Compassionate Ministries project The Syria Earthquake Response - Turkey/Syria earthquake victims. Today it was my pleasure to share lunch with a few of our missionaries.
Shannon Smith, who you all know, will be in Virginia this fall. She still has plenty of mid-week dates available for a visit.
The Katanga family will be with us June 18 - July 23 2025. They are currently one of our LINKS missionaries. Please help me fill their schedule. They are a wonderful family and you will be blessed when you get to hear their story!

**Update: The Katanga family will now be coming to Virginia in 2025. Let’s start planning to make them welcome when they come. When I have the exact dates I will let you know .😊
The Katanga family is coming to Virginia June 17 -July 23. They are our new “LINKS “ missionaries.* They are from Ghana.
We are looking for hosts churches/families that could provide a place for them to stay for one or more days. They are also available to speak to groups of any size.
If you or your church have a place that they could stay longer that would be a true blessing!
*If you had the Mann family as your “LINKS” missionaries, these are your missionaries and it would be great for you to meet them in person.❤️
