NMI and Missions Leaders, We Need Your Help!
We are all watching the news of Hurricane Harvey, it’s damage and the devastating impact on the people of Southeast Texas and South Louisiana. But how exciting it is to be part of a church who cares and immediately steps in to help any way we can! In my capacity as Administrative/General Manager of Fawn Grove Compassion Center, I have been in daily communication with the leadership at Nazarene Compassionate Ministries, Nazarene Disaster Response, USA/Canada Region, NMI Director Lola Brickey and the District NMI Presidents of the districts in Texas. FGCC has been working to help the survivors by preparing and shipping Crisis Care Kits to Texas. Prior to the storm we had moved a truckload of CCKs into the region where they were staged and ready to distribute. Nazarenes and others on the ground from the beginning of the storm were ready to use them. Yesterday, we prepared another truckload of CCKs which are on the way to Texas to continue to help others. NMI leaders across the country have been mobilizing local churches to send these kits to our warehouse so that they can be used exactly where needed during the storm and now during the clean-up phases. FGCC’s supply of Crisis Care Kits has been depleted and more are still urgently needed! NCM and NMI are asking that CCKs be sent to the warehouse as quickly as they can be prepared in order to keep the supply flowing. It is most helpful to have them come to FGCC so that they are in the system and transfer efficiently to the areas most in need. So, would you consider preparing CCKs and getting them to FGCC just as quickly as possible? A description/instruction sheet on preparing CCKs is attached. They should be delivered to Fawn Grove Compassion Center, 5300 Fawn Grove Road, Pylesville, MD 21132. FGCC is open M-F 8 am to 5 pm for deliveries. Please call FGCC direct with questions or for additional information. The number is 410-452-8699 or you may email to:

Thank you for all you are doing to help others during this difficult time in Texas. Blessings, Sharon E Kessler, President Mid-Atlantic District
***Virginia District***
The DRC wants to remind our Virginia Nazarene churches that you can drop off CCKs at the DRC (5906 Harbour Park Dr., Midlothian, VA 23112) Monday-Thursday from 9-4pm. We will make sure that all the CCKs are transferred to FGCC.

A successful end to the Sweet Tea Rule with a midnight run to McDonalds for a gallon plus of their finest brew! And it was good! (No I did not just now drink the entire gallon!) The Sweet Tea Rule is when I give up much of my sweet tea buying in February and set the money aside for Alabaster - the Nazarene missions offering that enables our folks abroad and in the US to buy land and build buildings for churches schools etc. Raised over $60 this month! But it's a LONG month! Praise the Lord Jesus for His work around the world and at home! Sandy
Where do you find the mission schedule???
Merry Christmas to you! Kfeld Christmas Greeting 2016. Peace be with you, dear VA family!
Hi everyone, Just a note to send a path to everyone who wants to know more about our October emphasis- MPO! Mission Priority One. I really encourage every church to reach their goal to be a MPO church . Her's a map your can follow and then go wild with ideas to get creative how to accomplish these . #1-Va. district church site, # 2 district ministries- find the logos like above, prayer, the server bowl with sweet aroma of prayers from God's people, aleaf with a shoot on side, mentering, a loaf of bread, sharingand giving, and a window for educating in what's happening in missions etc. ..There is a launch place to find loads of ideas. Feel free to use everything available ..
Love these symbols above Prayer- the brazer with the image of smoke , the sweet aroma of prayers of God's people rising to the Heavens. A leaf with a small shoot representing mentoring a new generation of believers and leaders, a loaf of bread representing Jesus giving of himself and us for others, and then the window representing educatiing and informing people to meet the world's needs and enabling our church to meet those needs.
Bring Crisis Care Kits and School Pal Paks to District Assembly. This banner will be at the collection point at Harrisonburg First Church of the Nazarene.
Twenty one banana boxes of Crisis Care Kits and four boxes of School Pal Paks were collected from the Virginia District Camp and moved to Charlottesville Northridge Church. The next leg of the journey will be on June 1st to the Fawn Grove Compassion Center.
