Fundamental to our program is the belief that children are unique individuals who need to be respected and cared for in a safe, nurturing environment. At LeafSpring School, we are committed to quality early education and school-age recreation programs, programs concerned with all aspects of each child’s growth and development: physical, social, emotional, and cognitive.

Show and Tell is an excellent way to build leadership skills in our kiddos. It gives children the chance to practice public speaking, describe objects with confidence, and share something meaningful with their friends.

Why have face painting when you can explore the art and culture of henna?
Today, our Village welcomed a henna artist, Colleen Heller, as part of our Big Top celebration, giving our older kiddos a chance to learn about traditional design, pattern work, and artistic expression.
Experiences like this build cultural awareness, creativity, and appreciation for diverse art forms — all while ending our Big Top fun with something beautifully unique.

As part of building our camp community, our kiddos learn to work together to take care of their Village. This includes helping with sweeping, clearing tables, and tidying up our spaces before we move on to more fun.
These simple routines teach our Campers responsibility, teamwork, and pride in caring for the place they share.
What an amazing week but don't take my word for it lets hear it from a few of our Village friends 😍

Our older kids plan their designs, sequence steps, manage materials, and problem‑solve as they work — all essential skills for confident, independent learners.

Waterplay is an early STEM experience.
Children experiment with volume, cause‑and‑effect, and problem‑solving — all while having the best time splashing with friends.

Waterplay supports development through fine‑motor practice.
Scooping, squeezing, and pouring help strengthen the small muscles children use for writing, feeding, and self‑help skills.
