Our Aflac flock is truly incredible both on and off the job. This Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we want to recognize Iowa Aflac District Sales Coordinator, Diana Bramow, who is making a difference through leading a team of volunteers with Heals Eastern Iowa.
Her team of Pink Heals Fighters encourages individuals newly diagnosed with cancer, undergoing treatment and surviving to let them know that they are not alone. Volunteers in pink gear and pink trucks, accompanied by local fire, police and EMS services make flower deliveries and deliver gift baskets to show love and support and offer comfort.
You are an inspiration!

Lopez, beloved Hispanic celebrity and breast cancer survivor, is joining Aflac to bring more awareness to the importance of proactive health care among U.S. Hispanics.
Through our "Remission with a Mission" campaign, Adamari is sharing her breast cancer story and encouraging others to stay proactive with their health, including getting routine health exams.
Did you know? 1 in 4 adults have chosen to forgo essential health screenings due to a perception of good health, according to Aflac's Wellness Matters survey, conducted specifically among Hispanics.

Camp Magical Moments is aimed at helping children with cancer and their families enjoy a fun camping experience. This summer, camp attendees received their very own My Special Aflac Duck®.
This innovative social robot is available free of charge to children 3 and up coping with cancer and sickle cell disease. The award-winning duck uses medical play and lifelike movement — such as mimicking emotions — to engage and help comfort kids during their cancer or sickle cell disease journey.

Aflac won two industry awards at 2023 ANA In-House Excellence Awards for our animated short film, The Park Bench.
In the film Bella, a young girl, struggles to cope with her father's sickle cell diagnosis. She is befriended by an unlikely ally who lends a helping wing.
The Park Bench won the Category Grand Prize for "Best Collaborative Effort" and the Overall Grand Prize winner for "Best in Show."
We made this film to highlight the importance of standing in the gap for those who are struggling and to tell a story of the health disparities that exist in underrepresented communities. Getting health care shouldn't cost peace of mind, and Aflac is committed to helping ensure it doesn't.
In honor of Blood Cancer Awareness Month and Sickle Cell Awareness Month, please take a moment to watch and share our short film, The Park Bench:
