🎨 Committee Spotlight: Reflections 🎭📸✍️
The Reflections Committee helps coordinate one of the PTA’s most creative and inspiring programs! Reflections is a nationwide PTA arts program where students can submit original works in categories like visual arts, photography, literature, music composition, dance choreography, and film production based on a yearly theme.
What does the committee do?
✨ Promote the program to families and students
✨ Collect and organize submissions
✨ Coordinate judging and recognition for participants
✨ Help celebrate our students’ creativity and talent
Time commitment:
This is mostly a seasonal commitment in the fall, with heavier activity around submission deadlines and judging. Overall, it’s a very manageable committee and can be shared with a co-chair or small team. Most communication and organizing can be done from home and on your own schedule.
This is a great opportunity for someone who loves creativity, student engagement, and encouraging the arts in our school community! 🎨

Dear EEPTA Families, Volunteers, and Supporters, 💚📚
As another amazing school year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for helping make this year so special for our students, staff, and school community. ✨
Because of your support, volunteer hours, donations, ideas, and enthusiasm, we accomplished so much this year. From family events 🎉 and staff appreciation efforts 🍎 to yearbook memories 📖, community partnerships 🤝, student programs 🎓, garden projects 🌱, and everything in between, every event, fundraiser, and helping hand made a difference.
We are so proud of all that we achieved together, and none of it would have been possible without our wonderful volunteers and supporters. Whether you chaired a committee, attended meetings, donated supplies, helped at events, or simply supported us throughout the year, thank you. 💕
We also want to wish Mr. Maher a very happy retirement! 🎉👏 Thank you for your years of dedication, leadership, and support of our school community. You will truly be missed, and we hope retirement brings you lots of relaxation, happiness, and new adventures. ☀️✈️
As a reminder, current PTA memberships term ends on June 30th. We hope you’ll join us again for another exciting year by renewing your membership starting July 1st. 🗓️
We are also already looking for volunteers for next school year. Whether you can help a little or a lot, we would love to have you involved. 🙌 Please visit our Volunteer Interest website to sign up or learn more about volunteer opportunities.

The Evergreen Community Garden is officially DONE! 🌿🌸
What started as an idea has turned into a beautiful space for our students, staff, and community to enjoy for years to come. We are especially proud that this garden has been dedicated to Mr. Maher, whose impact on Evergreen will continue to grow right alongside it. 💚
A huge thank you to Ruppert Landscaping for helping bring this vision to life and all the volunteers for all their hard work that went into making it happen!
The rainy weather may be putting a damper on everyone’s long weekend plans, but the garden is absolutely loving it. 🌧️🌱
We can’t wait to watch everything grow!
