James River High School Basketball

Our day camp starts tomorrow! We will accept walk up registrations starting at 8:20 AM in the gym at James River High School. Camp is from 9:00-3:00 Monday through Thursday. The cost is $150 per camper. Lunch will be available for purchase. We look forward to a great week!

Tomorrow night (Friday) at 8 PM, our varsity team plays Thomas Dale in the Regional Semis with a state tournament berth on the line! The game will be played at home at James River High School. Tickets are $8. Come cheer us on!

What a great weekend for James River Basketball. Going 8-0 at University of Richmond Team Camp and winning back to back Team Camp Championships! Our guys played so hard and really earned it. Our staff is so lucky to coach a great group of young men!

Congrats to JaLeel Lang, Jalen Jordan, and Loginn Norton for making 1st Team All Region! A great honor and well deserved. Congrats to our staff for being named Staff of the Year for the region. Let's get our ultimate TEAM goal! We are all in this together.

Last night was a special night for James River! Our boy's basketball team won the Regional Championship for the first time in school history. Our 10 young men never give up and keeping playing for each other! Congrats. They deserve it! We aren't done! We likely will play Friday evening in the State Tournament. Details soon.

We host the Regional Championship tonight at 7PM against Franklin County! Come support our 10 young men as they look to accomplish something that has never been done before in school history! I'm really proud of this group and we'd love a big crowd there tonight cheering us on!

Come support our team as we host Riverbend tomorrow (Wednesday) at 7:30 at James River High School. A win would clinch a State Tournament bid. We play directly following our girls' team who is also playing for a berth in States!
