Mrs. Felicia Perry truly embodies what it means to be a Gator making a difference. She is dependable, flexible, and always willing to step in wherever she is needed—often at a moment’s notice. Whether supporting a classroom, assisting staff, or working directly with students, Mrs. Perry gives 100% to every task and every person she encounters.

Her positive attitude, caring nature, and willingness to help never go unnoticed. She quickly builds meaningful relationships with students, helping them feel supported, valued, and successful. Staff members know they can always count on her, and she approaches every challenge with grace, enthusiasm, and a smile.

Mrs. Perry makes Swift Creek Elementary a better place each and every day through her compassion, dedication, and servant-hearted leadership. She is a true difference-maker whose love for students and commitment to our school community shine in everything she does.

🥪 Chesterfield County Public Schools offers free summer meals for children. At 20 sites, free breakfasts and lunches will be available Monday through Thursday from June 23 through July 17, unless other dates are specified. Sites will be closed July 2.

These sites are open to all children who are 1-18 years old. Meals are first come, first served and are the same for all children. Children must remain on-site while eating their meals.

El Librotazo, the big book party, is scheduled for July 14

Put on your party (and reading) hats for El Librotazo, the Big Book Party! At El Librotazo, every child can choose up to five books to keep for free, forever. There will also be a ton of fun activities and refreshments during the event. Join us from 5-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 14 at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds (10300 Courthouse Road).

There is no cost to attend, take home books, or enjoy fun and food at El Librotazo. Families are asked to register by July 8 for free tickets. We have a limit of 3,500 attendees. Books for all ages will be available in English and Spanish.
