The countdown to our 28th Edition Recital is officially on, and we can’t wait to celebrate all of the hard work our dancers have put in this season!

A few important reminders:
📖 Be sure to refer to your recital handbook for all schedules, procedures, and important information.
⏰ Remember: ON TIME IS LATE! Please plan to arrive early for all dress rehearsals and performances.

🌟 Student of the Month 🌟

Congratulations to our May Student of the Month, Luna! 🎉

Luna has been a standout in her hip-hop classes this season. She is hardworking, brings a positive attitude to every class, applies corrections with confidence, and always comes prepared knowing her choreography. Her dedication and enthusiasm make her a joy to teach!

We are so proud of all of her accomplishments and are excited to recognize her as our final Student of the Month for this season. Keep up the amazing work, Luna! 💙🖤

✨ Senior Spotlight: Amirah✨

For the past 15 years, Amirah has called CDC home, including 13 incredible years as a member of dELIRIUM! ❤️ Her favorite CDC memory is spending time with her team at Busch Gardens.

This fall, Amirah will attend Spellman College where she plans to major in Psychology or Sociology with a minor in Criminal Justice or Dance. She also hopes to continue her passion for performing by trying out for the dance team! 💃

Amirah dreams of pursuing a career in dance after college, and we cannot wait to see all the amazing things her future holds. Your CDC family is so proud of you! ✨

🎓✨ Senior Spotlight: Riley ✨🎓

Today we are celebrating another amazing member of our Class of 2026, Riley! 💜

Riley has been part of the CDC family for 15 years and a dedicated member of dELIRIUM for the past 10 years. Over the years, she has created countless unforgettable memories, especially the competition weekends spent bonding with her teammates, late nights at the studio during the annual dELIRIUM intensive lock-ins, and taking on Miss. Carrie’s legendary conditioning obstacle courses. 💃🔥

This fall, Riley will attend the University of Virginia where she plans to major in Systems Engineering while also pursuing minors in Engineering Business and Dance. Even more exciting — Riley will continue her dance career as a member of the Virginia Dance Team, performing on the sidelines at football and basketball games! 🧡💙

We are beyond proud of everything Riley has accomplished and cannot wait to see her shine at UVA. Your CDC family will always be cheering you on! ✨

CDC will be closed on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. 🇺🇸
