A little more about the Imago Dei Head of School:

During the early stages in planning what this school would be, it was important that the school reach others for Christ. It isn't JUST about the school and the students (although that is a focus). I want Imago Dei Academy to be a light that shines Christ in Midlothian, Texas. This statement bled into all other decisions made.

📜 To grow our own children in their Christian faith, parents must make sure we are walking with the Lord ourselves! Here are some ways we can make sure our children can see our faith through our lives, and build a home centered on Christ.

✝ Proverbs 22:6 says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." What an important command!

A little about Imago Dei Academy's Head of School:

This school came to fruition after many days and weeks coming home from work as a school administrator saying these words to myself. It was after a lot of seeking God, and advice from people I respected as Christian leaders, that I took the step to begin this school.

A big theme in many schools (and probably other organizations) is "What is Your Why?" (If you haven't heard of Simon Sinek, look him up!) I want My Why and God's Will for my life to align. So I took a leap of faith and began the work.

Happy Friday, Imago Dei Family!

Today, we're diving into another part of our Statement of Faith, inspired by 1 Corinthians 7:2-3. Part 6 emphasizes our belief in the sanctity of marriage:

"We believe that marriage is the uniting of only one man and one woman in union and God intends intimacy only between one man and one woman."

Our faith is grounded in these timeless principles:

Belief in the Holy Trinity: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Salvation through grace and faith in Christ alone.
The crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ.
The authority of Scripture in guiding our lives.
