CEF is at the CCPS New Teacher Orientation at Cosby HS. Wishing our teachers a fantastic school year!

Last month, welcomed teachers from 12 different countries to participate in the Participate Learning Teachers Program! We are so excited to have them here in Chesterfield! Through our generous supporters, we gifted them $200 Amazon gift cards to help set up their houses and classrooms! Thank you CEF supporters!

With so many students needing tuition assistance, it is incredible to see how donations to CEF make an immediate impact!

Update: El Librotazo is sold out! All 3,000 tickets were claimed by July 1. We're excited that CCPS families are excited about this brand-new event.

The event will be held at the Chesterfield County Fairgrounds, 10300 Courthouse Rd, Chesterfield, VA 23832, on July 9, 2024. It will be from 5 to 8:30 p.m. Vendors and volunteers will be able to park in the fairgrounds lot.

JOIN US MONDAY, AUG 5th, at Gelati Celeste for our Spirit Night for CEF! Eat fantastic ice cream and help raise funds for CCPS! This fundraiser will help us support scholarships, grants, and literacy campaigns! Hope to see you there!

What's a book that you loved as a kid or made a difference in your life? I could list so many, but one that comes to mind is The Hundred Dresses by Eleanor Estes. It's a great read when you grow up feeling different from the other students.
