Our Architectural Engineering students visited Stantec, the architectural firm that is designing the new Midlothian ISD CTE center. They learned about the design process and were tasked to develop a plan for the event plaza space. Stantec will hear our student presentations in December and provide feedback on their designs.

Students reflected that they are thankful for their classes at The MILE because they are using and will be certified in Revit, a 3D modeling architectural program, which is the same program used by the professionals.

The Scratch Kitchen's Grand Opening is NEXT week! The Scratch Kitchen is a student-run restaurant open to the community! You won't want to miss your chance to enjoy items from the new menu, which includes both breakfast and lunch options!

We are open most Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:45 - 12:15. You will check in to the front office, so be sure to bring your state-issued ID.

Law Enforcement students had the opportunity to spend time with Midlothian Police Department - Texas and get an up-close look at the Bearcat SWAT truck. Students participated in PTDT training and gained valuable insight into law enforcement operations. Thanks to Officers Evitt, Brown, and Newcomb for organizing this experience for our learners!
