Our DECA Chapter has done many GREAT things this year. We started off the year strong with a Fall Fest that took place in October. With that we had the community come out and have tons of fun with inflatables, DJ, and later at night a movie on the grass. Money we raised from that and from people donating at the school store has helped us raise $3,000 for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. We also hosted the dodgeball tournament at Battle of the classes. After our first events we focused on our written projects and growing the school store, everyday we strive to make our school store better for us, the students, and the teachers. When our written papers were done we prepared for our area competition learning life skills and getting ready to conquer our future. At our area competition we had 35 state qualifiers between our role plays and our written projects. We are growing every day and getting better every year. Now we are focused on going to state and more things to do with the school, at the school store we are getting new items and services for people to enjoy. We are hoping to have some qualifiers for nationals and we are practicing for that everyday. We are proud of our chapter members as we continue to grow everyday!
