It was a great day for Buddy Field Day!

So much fun seeing these girls in their element! I am so proud of the hard work they put onto the field and at the stables. Way to go girls!

What an awesome day celebrating my team at their celebratory 5K! This coach is proud of them all! Thank you to everyone that helped make this possible and to those that came to support our girls! Emily from our class did great! We missed Avalynn, but she continues to work hard in practice. Way to go girls!

We’ve had a busy and fun week! We celebrated Little Feet participates, created the rock cycle using Starbursts, parachute fun in P.E., and spending some time at recess.

Morning meeting was full of questions today! We are learning more about each other.

We had an awesome visit from author Andy Griffiths.

We had fun learning about plate tectonics using icing and graham crackers!

Gavin and Cormac were ready today to see the Solar Eclipse! 😎 Cool shades boys!

Avalynn was our Spotlight Student before spring break! Avalynn is a student you can count on to always do her best. She works hard to make good grades and she is a talented artist! She can create and do amazing things! Congratulations Avalynn!

We had some awesome visitors today! Thank you to the VCU Baseball players for greeting our students and signing their autographs!

Mrs. Fisch and I had an awesome night delivering pizza to our bluebirds!

We had a great time at the Science Museum!

It was a great for baseball, lemonade and brownies! I had the privilege to watch several of our fifth grade boys play in a tournament today.
I am most proud of Ryan, Gavin, and Grant. They sure do know how to run those bases!
Thanks to Reid, Hannah, and Sebastian, they saved a brownie and some lemonade dir me. They were able to donate close to $50 to the animal shelter with their earning from their bake sale.
I am so proud of each of you!

These two girls worked hard at gymnastics class today! I am so proud of you Avalynn and Genelle! You two made it look so easy!

Mrs. Fisch and I will be delivering! We are excited to bring you dinner that night!

I had so much fun watching Reid show his ninja moves Friday night! He has such wonderful balance and makes flipping look so easy. Way to go Reid!

It is hard to believe it is time to add a new year to our Fifth Grade Wall of Fame! Each year, the graduating fifth grade class leaves its mark on Bettie Weaver by adding their self-portrait tiles to our Fifth Grade Wall of Fame. I am so proud of Riley McClenny and the Weaver Basketball teams! They played in a tournament this past weekend and won their games! I am so glad I was able to cheer them on! Congratulations!

Kersey showcased his mathematical skills by explaining how he solved our number talk for the day. Way to go Kersey!
