Show-and-tell isn’t just for little kids! 🌟
For older students, sharing something they care about is a wonderful way to build real-world public speaking skills in a comfortable, meaningful setting. Students practice organizing their thoughts, speaking clearly, making eye contact, answering questions, and presenting with confidence.
Even more importantly, show-and-tell gives students a chance to share their passions, hobbies, talents, and interests. It helps classmates learn more about one another, builds confidence, and reminds students that their unique interests have value.
Sometimes the best public speaking practice starts with simply talking about something you love! ❤️🎤
