You don’t have to be an engineer to think like one. Midland College’s Petroleum Engineering for Non-Engineers is a two-day short course designed for petroleum industry professionals who want a stronger understanding of the engineering concepts behind the work they see every day.

Participants will explore everything from reservoir economics and artificial lift to facility design, emissions management and industry best practices, then take that knowledge into the field with a guided tour of an active drilling rig.

Dates: Oct. 5-6
Cost: $650
This course is a great place to start if you want to expand your industry knowledge or are considering the path toward becoming a petroleum engineer.

Through MC's partnership with UNT Health Fort Worth, pre-med students have access to the Primary Care Pathway Program, an accelerated pathway designed to help students become physicians in seven fast-paced years.

It's one of two pre-med pathways available at MC, giving students options for how they prepare for medical school and pursue a future in medicine.
