It all started with an idea of changing lives. Teaching karate has been more than kicks and punches, tournaments or championships titles. The goal is to be able to change a life through martial arts reinforcing values and principles that are taught at home.

SIDEKICK ELITE TEAM started back in 2019 with the idea of getting competitors from Sidekick Karate School sponsored for their hard work in training and to be able to cover traveling expenses, tournament fees, trainings, gear, etc.

In 2022 SIDEKICK ELITE INC. was formed with the same purpose but the vision was bigger. It was decided that SIDEKICK ELITE INC. will also give opportunities to our Sidekick Karate School students who graduate from High School and plan to go to College to further their studies, and become successful in their careers.

Today, I, Mr Flaco, have the honor to give the very FIRST scholarship to my student Nick Serrano who will be graduating in a few days and will attend Texas Tech. This wouldn’t be possible without our sponsors. If you have been a part of different fundraisers and sponsorships THANK YOU!!

I just want to say thank you to everyone for another amazing tournament!
First: to all competitors and all teams that came from parts of the country and Canada, for showing an amazing and high level competition, for your preparation to bring the best to the mats! To all families that came and support their athletes! This is what makes unique; high level competition, amazing organization and like minded individuals who genuinely want you to succeed!
Second: to all other promoters and volunteers (judges & scorekeepers) that made the tournament run smoothly with High Professionalism!
Third: To all families and students that helped with all set-up, concessions, registration, scorekeepers, coaching, etc…..
