Congratulations to Nathan Dion on earning his Private Pilot License at exactly 40.3 total flight hours, setting the Red Cardinal Aviation record for the fewest hours to earn a PPL.

Nathan’s dedication, motivation, and consistency made it happen. The key to efficient training is simple: stay consistent and fly at least 3 lessons per week. He also completed his entire PPL training for under $10,000, a total cost almost unheard of in the DMV. Btw, he also has a full time job, NO excuses. Huge credit to his CFI, Viraj Prakash, for the training and guidance that got him there.

A NEW RED CARDINAL RECORD🚨🚨

Huge congratulations to our student Sam on completing his FIRST SOLO at just 16 years old!

Sam has officially set a new Red Cardinal Aviation record, reaching his first solo with only 10.6 hours of flight time!

A huge credit goes to his instructor, Christian, for the training, preparation, and dedication that helped Sam reach this milestone.

Sam’s accomplishment is also a great reminder to young future pilots: you don’t have to wait to start chasing your aviation goals. You can begin flight training at any age and solo an airplane as early as 16 years old.

The sooner you start, the sooner you can start building your skills, experience, and future in aviation.
