Help Keep Our Students Safe – Stop for School Bus Red Lights 🚍

The start of the school year means more school buses are on the road—and the safety of our students depends on all of us.

When a school bus has its red lights flashing and stop arm extended, you must stop. This applies to traffic traveling in both directions, unless you are on the opposite side of a divided highway with a physical median.

Children may cross the road unexpectedly, making it critical for drivers to remain alert and follow the law every time.

⚠️ Failing to stop for a school bus can result in fines—but more importantly, it puts children's lives at risk.

Let's work together to make this a safe and successful school year. Slow down, stay alert, and STOP for flashing red lights.
