Why consider self-directed education?
* You are bored and/or frustrated by school.
* School is constantly getting in the way of exploring the things you're interested in.
* Frankly, you don't feel very excited about anything, ever.
* Homework and extra-curriculars consume your life from the time school ends until the time you go to bed.
* You never get enough sleep, because you're so busy.
* You want to branch out and follow your interests.
* You want to engage in the kind of education that will prepare you for life.

Anna speaks more on how our registration process works and why it’s so personal. Our goal is to create a foundation together that will hold fast for years to come. One of the most important components of learning is feeling safe in your environment so you can be free to explore and grow. Our registration process helps develop the trust necessary to fortify that environment.

We had our first board meeting today and passed all our bylaws. Please welcome Jennifer Earley as our Treasurer, Adira Walker as our Secretary, Natalie Lodicobond as our Vice President, and Anna Schubert as our President. All the loose ends are finally being sorted and we are just thrilled at the energy and collaborative joy!
Our next steps are finalizing our website and registration process. Let us know if you want to be on the waiting list!

Join us TONIGHT at 7pm over at Creative 360 for a screening of School Circles! Its a documentary that showcases six different self-directed schools in the Netherlands and is a great example of what we are trying to build. We are excited to share with you! Also snacks, because we believe in sharing them too.
