Congratulations to Talya Pashuta and her crew of fellow Film and Broadcast Journalism students for taking home the top prize for Student Film at the Beaver Falls Film Festival.
Her documentary film Beaver County Steel: Roots and Resilience, created as part of her Broadcast Journalism coursework, explores the history of heavy industry in Beaver County and its continued effect on the environment. Pashuta will be directing Lincoln Park's upcoming 48 Hour Film Project submission THIS WEEKEND!
Congrats and stay tuned for more from our hardworking student filmmakers here at LP! π¬ππ

As a friendly reminder from Mr. LeRoyβs previous emails:
Tuesday, May 12 and Wednesday, May 13 are asynchronous learning days, due to state Keystone testing.
Only students who are scheduled to take Keystone Exams should report to campus on Tuesday and Wednesday. Your student has already been notified about whether they are supposed to take Keystone exams during this testing window. Here is the testing schedule:
Tuesday, May 12 β Literature Keystone Exam
Wednesday, May 13 β Algebra and Biology Keystone Exams
Because this year's testing is online, students who are testing should be sure to arrive with:
* a fully charged Chromebook
* a Chromebook charger
All students who are NOT testing, and therefore not on campus, should log in to their Homeroom Google Classrooms for attendance AND should then check each of their Classrooms for assignments or activities posted for Tuesday and Wednesday.
