A question we get asked alot is: What makes Mrs. Sarah’s Turtle Clubhouse different from other preschool or micro schools? How do we stand out?

The answer:

Experience:

We have been open since August 2015. When we first opened we were registered for four months then quickly become licensed. Then we were licensed from December 2015 through February 2026. Now we have an exemption and are operating as a private educational facility. Yet we are still regulated under the same branch of government “Texas Health and Human Services”as when we were licensed. My teaching experience starts back even further in May 2007.

I have a teaching degree and a directors license. I used to work at Bowie Fine Arts and St Luke’s CDP in the after school age/summer care room at the same time. Since the hours were at different times. I loved working there and only left to start my own school.

Extended Hours:

We are open year round. We do not close in the summer. Also our hours are longer we’re open Monday-Friday 7:45am-5:05pm.

Offer Parttime Care and rates:

Although we are open fulltime hours we also offer part time options like half days or 2-3 days a week.

One on One:

The children’s instructional based learning is one on one. Yet they still get to socialize with other students and do play based learning as well.

Food:

We provide Breakfast Lunch and Snack. You do not have to bring your own food for your child. We also follow child nutrition standards for well balanced meals that include all food groups.

Reliable:

We are home based but are very reliable like a center and do not close randomly for personal reasons. This helps families get to enjoy the best of both worlds.

Curriculum:

Our curriculum is very advanced, yet fun so children get to keep their thirst for knowledge and enjoy learning. We ensure that if a student decides to go back to public school they will be prepared and have the skills/knowledge they need to drop right back in. We also have the option to let Kindergarten-12th grade families choose their own curriculum and we teach it.

Accredited:

My 7th-12th grade program is accredited.

No Homework Struggles:

We assign little to no homework. The homework we do assign is fun and easy. For example letting a cup of water evaporate outside.

Neurodivergent Friendly:

I have a lot of experience with children that are neurodivergent from kids who are gifted and talented, adhd, autistic etc. No your child does not have to be potty trained.

Speech Delayed Children/Deaf/Bilingual:

American Sign language is a part of our curriculum as Sarah Long is fluent in it. Speech therapy is also given as a part of the curriculum as well. We also help chidren learn English and become bilingual.

Events:

We do fun events through out the year too like ceremonies, concerts, picture days, sometimes even plays.

Tuition Rates:

While the tuition price depends on multiple factors like age/grade level and whether the student attends part or full time, we still do our best to keep our prices as low as we can. We try to compare our rates to other schools by trying to have them be equal to our less then other local daycares, preschools, microschools and private schools in Midland.ot
