Hello current students! I was ready to return to work today but the world had other plans. I was really eager to see each and every one of you. It just wasn’t meant to be. But, I will be seeing you on google classroom. There is one assignment that’s due tomorrow. See you on the web!
The Christmas concert last night was a beautiful success! I was so happy to see everybody’s parents and the support they gave their children. There was no lack of applause and genuine love for each group that played. I am especially proud of my beginners. Six graders are wonderful to teach. Their enthusiasm is infectious and I am rewarded by their efforts. Thank you everybody from my family to administrators and teachers that came to help make the concert a wonderful success!
Hello everybody! It has been a great first week. It is going to be an even greater year. Guitars are are due in class on Monday. All students will be needing an ergo play. We will not be using foot stools at all. Ergo plays are available at all music stores. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask them. You can ask on Facebook or remind. Thank you.
UIL competition is on April 21, 2016. Honors is working hard to be highly competitive. I am very proud of their effort and sacrifice for a chance to be winners.

Congratulations are in order for several of our Ector guitar students. This was an amazing week for the program. Mark Johsnon recieved a 1 on his solo performance at the regional UIL solo and ensemble competition. Philip Wyman, Alexander Ramirez, and Ben Rose did very well at the regionl UIL solo and Ensemble competition and have earned a chance to compete at the State Level in May. Philip also won The high school division at this years West Texas Guitar Festival. Congratulations also go out to Rael Amesquita for winning the Junior High division. Lets keep going Ector Eagles, our kids are the best!!
