🏈🥁 HONORING A REBEL LEGEND 🥁🏈

The Mighty Rebel Drumline was honored to perform today at Astound Stadium for the unveiling of a statue honoring Cedric Benson, one of the greatest athletes in Midland Lee High School history.

Benson led the Rebels to three consecutive state championships, starred at the University of Texas, won the Doak Walker Award, and went on to an eight-season NFL career.

We’re proud our students could be part of a special celebrating his life, legacy, and lasting impact on our community.

Once a Rebel, Always a Rebel.
