The Charge Robotics The Charge is organized as a club within the Midland Public Schools.

We are The Charge, Team 2619, a FIRST robotics team from Midland, Michigan, working "to create a world where science and technology are celebrated, where young people dream of becoming science and technology heroes". The Charge -- The Midland Area Robotics Team -- is a team of high school students and adult mentors who participate in FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, http://www.usfirst.org/) competitions. The primary focus of the Midland Area Robotics Team is to design, fabricate, construct, and test a large-scale robot for regional, state, and international competitions. The team brings together skills in areas of business, communications, fund raising, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and programming to effectively compete in the FIRST Robotics Competitions. The team is an opportunity for the students to work with a wide range of mentors with industry experience to gain hands-on technical and teamwork skills in a high energy environment.

We are thankful for the opportunity to do robot demos! Topped off the night with a Loons win and fireworks after the game.
