Drs. Larson and Albrecht took part in the Spring Sully Showcase at Midland College today. They met with numerous students about the biology program at Sul Ross, and the option of completing a bachelors of science degree from Sul Ross while never having to leave the Midland area. That said, they also talked about the great field research opportunities for those students that transfer to the Alpine campus and get to explore the Big Bend region. For those folks in the Alpine area, come by the Science building today for a Halloween inspired talk about creepy crawlies and other misaligned critters by SJ Gilbert and myself at 3pm in WSB 201. We will have neat facts, myths and facts, and museum specimens of some of the fascinating critters we will be talking about today! I even dressed for the occasion.
