Marching Band Showcase is the coolest night of the entire marching season (but not the coldest)...We get to see all those performances without having to wait for that sportsball stuff that goes on between songs.

But, to make it run smoothly, we also need help.

There are still volunteers needed, so please consider signing up. Each new sign up gets to tell a joke about Mr. DeRees....just not to his face. Or to anyone that knows him. Actually, maybe save it for home ....

PARDON MY OOPSIE. note the corrected date.

Hey you! Do you want to show that band that even after graduation, you still got it? If you don't still "got it", want to show you're still fun? (Don't worry, you can still be in bed by 10pm). Join the Dow High marching band on the track and in the stands for this year's alumni performance.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
Date; Oct 2
Time: 5:45pm rehearsal at Midland High band lot
Step off: 6:30

We will provide music, but unfortunately it's BYO instruments this year. Additionally, due to showcase and homecoming activities, we won't have time to do an on field performance, but you're welcome to play along from the track from pregame and halftime.

We take all matters involving band students very seriously, which is why we felt like we needed to make this statement.

But now that you're invested in the tea, what we REALLY need are more signups for tux distribution on Tuesday evening.

Won't somebody think of the children?

Breaking News, band family. Spiritwear has been delivered to the school and should come home tomorrow. Some items were backordered and should come next week. Those will be listed on the receipt with the bag...but please still ensure your order is correct.

You stay classy, Dow High.....

As the saying goes, you can't spell parliamentary procedure without P-A-R-T-Y (and also the letters limenocd and u). If you're a fan of making motions, seconding motions, give me a YAY, and show up to the first Dow High Music Booster Meeting of the new school year. Be in the room where it happens, and make your voice heard. Deets on the invite.

These kids don't just make music with their instruments... sometimes they also make music with their mouths! (Let's not get pedantic about how making music with instruments can also use mouths).

The Dow High Choirs through Dow Highschool proudly present Cabaret. The night will be filled with the sound of beautiful voices, from the entire Choirs to solo performers.

DETAILS:
Date: Saturday, September 19.
Time: curtains at 6pm
Location: Central Auditorium
Cost: $6/ticket
Tickets are selling fast!
