🚲 **Happy World Bicycle Day!** 🚲

Did you know that World Bicycle Day is celebrated each year on June 3? Neither did we! The day was established by the United Nations to recognize the bicycle as a simple, affordable, reliable, and environmentally friendly mode of transportation.

Bicycles are also a great excuse to get outside, enjoy some fresh air, and have fun with friends & family! Whether it's a trip to the park or just riding around the neighborhood with your favorite people, today is the perfect day to hit the road.

So, Aviators, grab your bikes, practice safe riding habits, and see where your wheels take you! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️☀️

Behind every smooth school day is a front office team making it all happen! 💙✈️🥰

Our front office staff wears more hats than we can count — often working tirelessly behind the scenes to keep our campus running smoothly. They are the keepers of attendance, collectors of doctor’s notes, coordinators of transportation changes, answerers of countless phone calls, organizers of permission slips, and problem-solvers for just about everything in between.

With a campus of more than 900 students, these ladies stay incredibly busy, yet they handle it all with patience, kindness, and pride in what they do. Their hard work may not always be seen, but it is felt every single day by our students, staff, and families.

Thank you for being the heartbeat of our front office and for all the ways you help our Aviators soar! 💙✈️🧡

Last, but certainly not least, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate the heart of our front office - our amazing Office Administrative Assistants!

Words could never explain how much we love Nurse Brittaney. She's the healer of scrapes & scratches, the keeper of lost teeth, the comfort and safe place when a student is ill, and a million other things. Nurse Brittaney is a one woman show caring for our 900+ students (and the occasional staff member) and she handles it like a boss 💪🏼

We love you Nurse Brittaney and appreciate your hard work and kind heart more than you know! 👩🏻‍⚕️🧡💙

Every day, she shows incredible care and dedication to our students at Fasken Elementary. Whether she’s comforting a worried child, handling unexpected injuries, or making sure our Aviators are healthy and ready to learn, Nurse Brittaney goes above and beyond in every way.

A dynamic duo!!

Ms. Franco has been an incredible addition to our campus this year. Anytime you see her she's usually got a friend (or three) trailing behind her. 😅 Our students love her!! She has a heart of gold and is always willing to step in and help whenever & wherever she's needed.

Mrs. Pizarro has also been a big asset to us! She is dedicated to helping our students and staff grow and thrive each day. Mrs. Pizarro is kind, genuine and brings a sense of calm to our campus.

We are so grateful for our amazing counselor, Ms. Franco, who supports our students academically, socially, and emotionally each and every day. Her care, compassion, and dedication help our Aviators feel seen, heard, and supported.

We also want to recognize Mrs. Pizarro, our wonderful assistant principal, for the heart she brings to Fasken Elementary. Whether she is solving problems, supporting teachers, encouraging students, or stepping in wherever she is needed, she does it all with kindness, integrity, and a genuine sense of care for our school community.
