Last week we had the honor of celebrating some of the Unsung Heroes of our district — our maintenance team, custodial staff, cafeteria staff, and bus drivers! These individuals work behind the scenes each day to keep our schools safe, clean, running smoothly, and ready for students to learn and grow.
From early mornings to late evenings, their commitment does not go unnoticed. We are grateful for the care, hard work, and heart they pour into serving our students and staff every single day. Thank you for all you do to support our schools and community!
A big thank you to H-E-B for donating the BBQ and Chips for our meal! We also received donations from Costco and JRM Resources and are so appreciative of their support!

The Greenwood Ranger Debate Team, in partnership with the National Speech & Debate Association (NSDA), is proud to recognize its 2025–2026 Academic All-American Award recipients.
Fewer than 1–2% of NSDA’s more than 140,000 student members earn this distinguished honor each year.
The award recognizes students who demonstrate excellence in academics, competitive speech and debate, leadership, and community service. NSDA members accumulate points through participation in speech and debate competitions, service activities, and leadership experiences, contributing to their standing within the organization’s honor society.
