Since joining the Midland ISD Police Department in 2022, Officer Ismir Cortinas has worked to strengthen safety, connection, and student engagement across our schools. From serving as Crime Stoppers Coordinator to leading the development of Midland ISD’s first Campus Crime Stoppers program, her impact is helping students feel empowered to speak up and be part of keeping their schools safe.

We had a lot of fun hosting our Senior walk today! Seeing the Seniors walk the halls for the last time as a student of Midland ISD is always special!

In the spirit of community and environmental responsibility, Henderson launched a school-wide clean-up initiative to promote campus pride and student responsibility. We are proud that our group earned 1st Place for the artwork created through our clean-up efforts!

Henderson was recognized as an ENERGY STAR certified campus, a respected distinction from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency that honors superior energy performance for 2025! We are thankful for our custodians that help manage our systems to improve energy performance!
