The scoreboard isn't the only place Midland College student-athletes excel. A total of 26 Chaps and Lady Chaps earned 2025-26 NJCAA All-Academic Team honors, recognizing student-athletes who achieved a GPA of 3.60 or higher, with distinctions awarded to First, Second and Third Team honorees based on academic performance.

Four Midland College Golfers have earned 2025-26 Cobalt Golf All-America Scholar honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America!

To earn this honor, student-athletes must be in their final year of NJCAA eligibility, pursuing their associate degree, competing in at least 50% of their team’s competitive rounds, maintaining a stroke average under 77.0, and achieving a minimum cumulative career GPA of 3.2. Recipients must also demonstrate strong character and remain in good standing at their institution.

With four honorees, Midland College tied for the most NJCAA Division I recipients from one school. We’re proud of the hard work these student-athletes put in every day — both academically and on the course. 👌

Midland College Sports Medicine recently took its expertise on the road to Capitan, New Mexico, for a coaching clinic focused on athletic training techniques. Nearly 30 students and coaches joined the conversation, learning more about sports medicine and the opportunities available through our program.

At Midland College, we believe education is at the heart of everything we do. Whether we're preparing our own students for careers in sports medicine or sharing knowledge with future athletes and coaches, we're proud to make an impact beyond our campus.
