Meet Aundre Washington, a Midland College student working toward his goal of becoming a cardiac sonographer.

For Aundre, choosing MC was about finding a place close to home where he could have the support and opportunities he needed to continue his education. After starting his journey in fire and EMS, Aundre discovered his passion for sonography and knew MC was the right place to help him reach his goals.

Inspired by his family’s experiences with heart health, including seeing the care that helped save his grandfather after a heart attack, Aundre hopes to one day make a difference for others through his work in the medical field.

“When I tell you that Midland College helped me every step of the way, I truly mean that,” Aundre said.
