Fragile X syndrome is the most common inherited cause of intellectual disability can affect learning behavior and development. Every person with Fragile X is unique with their own strengths, challenges and potential.

By learning more, sharing awareness, and supporting individuals and families we can help build a more understanding and exclusive community. 💙

Strong leadership starts with understanding both the law and the families we serve.

Our Special Services team offered professional training for principals and assistant principals on the legal framework of special education, providing practical guidance to support compliance and student success.

What sets our training apart was the opportunity to hear firsthand perspectives from a parent and a sibling of a child with disabilities, helping educators better understand the real-life impact of their decisions and strengthen partnerships with families

What an incredible start to our Extended School Year program! Over the past two weeks, our students have been engaged in meaningful learning experiences that are helping them grow academically, socially, and personally.

From strengthening academic skills in the classroom to participating in community service opportunities, our students have demonstrated enthusiasm, determination, and a commitment to learning. 💙❤️

Today, our Transportation Department hosted a Think Tank Lunch for our Special Education team. 🍽️

The gathering provided an opportunity for staff to connect, collaborate, and share ideas focused on supporting the unique transportation needs of our students. Through meaningful conversation and teamwork, we continue to strengthen the partnerships that help ensure safe, reliable, and accessible transportation services every day. 🚌❤️💙🚌

This free, one-day event will take place on Thursday, May 21, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Region 18 ESC, located at 2811 La Force Blvd.
