Weโre so excited to give a shoutout to our Life Skills students at Yarbrough Elementary! ๐
They recently wrapped up their money unit in the Life Skills curriculum, and what better way to bring those lessons to life than by putting them into action? Students launched their very own โHome Run Refresh Cart,โ giving them hands-on experience with real-world skills like handling money, making purchases, and interacting with customers.
This was more than just a project. It was an incredible learning experience that brought our entire school community together. The cart was inclusive and accessible to everyone in the building, creating meaningful opportunities for connection, confidence-building, and teamwork.
We are so proud of our students for their hard work and enthusiasm. Way to knock it out of the park! โพ๐

This past weekend, our Midland ISD Child Find team was proud to be out in the community at the Shares Walk! ๐
Our Child Find team plays a vital role in identifying and supporting young children who may need early intervention services. Events like this give us a chance to connect with families, share resources, and ensure that every child has access to the support they need to grow, learn, and succeed.
Weโre grateful to be part of a community that comes together to raise awareness, support one another, and make a lasting impact. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, connected with our team, and helped make the day so meaningful!
Together, weโre strengthening our community and serving students by making sure no child is overlooked. ๐
