Our Health Science Senior Interns have completed finals, Senior walk through, Senior drive, and now Senior Honors Day…next up is Graduation!

Where we started and where they’re going…

We are so thankful for the experiences our Health Science Internship Students were able to receive through the 19 different healthcare locations over the last 12 weeks. Thank you to Flowers Hospital, Dr. Kesserwani and his staff, Dr. Colby Horne and his staff at Ozark Veterinary Clinic, Echo Fire and Rescue, and Vivian B. Adams School for accommodating us during this time. These experiences go well beyond the classroom and help our students make more informed decisions on their future careers!

Today was an awesome day at our HOSA Blood Drive. We had approximately 25 people who were able to donate, which in turn saves 75 lives! Thanks to all who donated!

The HOSA Blood Drive is tomorrow from 8 am - 3 pm in the DCHS Gym! Members of the community are invited to attend and donate.

The HOSA Club is hosting the LifeSouth Blood Drive on Wednesday, April 29th in the DCHS Gym. Please come out and donate if you are available and bring your friends with you as well! Members of the community are invited to attend!

We had an awesome experience with our new friends at The Institute for Patient Safety and Medical Simulation with Baptist East in Montgomery. Our students had the opportunity to receive hands on instruction with high fidelity manikins for simulated experiences in health care. These are experiences that will shape their future careers in health care!
